Nick Cunningham helps nonprofit organizations strengthen their accounting, financial management, compliance, and operational systems. As Principal Consultant of Thrive Advisory Solutions, he works with nonprofit leaders on financial reporting, grant compliance, accounting systems, process improvement, and technology implementation.

Nick brings more than a decade of nonprofit finance experience spanning public accounting, executive financial leadership, and hands-on nonprofit operations. His background includes serving as CFO of multiple national nonprofits, teaching accounting as an adjunct professor, and public accounting experience focused on nonprofit audit and compliance.

Nick earned his MBA from Georgia Southwestern State University and his bachelor’s degree in business administration with concentrations in Accounting and Finance from Winthrop University. He is a licensed CPA in South Carolina and North Carolina and holds the CITP, ChFC®, PMP, and ACNP credentials.
